Clark Bonsai Museum

Donations to the Clark Bonsai Museum support the following programs:

• Visiting Master & Professional Advisor Program: Maintain, enhance and present the over 130 bonsai in the Clark Bonsai Museum with professional-led workshops and training for our volunteer bonsai artists who serve on the Curatorial Team for the Clark Bonsai Museum.
• The Museum, Exhibitions, and Educational Programs: Present three unique exhibits with “guided opening tours” that focus on an aspect of the art and culture of bonsai. Responding to popularity, we are expanding the “Make Your Own Bonsai” classes. We also provide our visitors with educational media, didactic signage, and educational docents and curators.
• Volunteer Program: Engage with the centerpiece of a visit to the Clark Bonsai Museum: trained Docents connect with visitors, provide overviews of current exhibitions, answer questions, share stories, and provide engagement materials and activities for children of all ages. An added feature is a small pop-up gift store managed by our Volunteer Coordinator.
• Infrastructure Program: As we enter our 10th year, it is time to provide essential renewal and replacement of our wooden display pedestals, work benches that hold our over 130 bonsai, interior fences, and tea house tokonoma platform.

Donated funds ensure that the Clark Bonsai Museum will secure our place as one of the ten best public bonsai collections in the country.
